Drew Lippert joined Compass Financial Partners in July 2019 as an Associate Director, Investment Research, responsible for developing investment policies and conducting ongoing research.  Drew brings eight years of holistic perspective from Fidelity Investments.  Starting on Fidelity’s Personal Investing team, Drew traded equities, mutual funds, ETFs, and options in investors’ personal accounts.  For the next three years, Drew worked on Fidelity’s Workplace Investing team with employer sponsored retirement plans recordkept at Fidelity.  He was responsible for assisting plan participants in developing financial plans and investment strategies aligned with their life goals.  This opportunity allowed him to become familiar with ERISA plans and how their design can impact participant behavior.

Eager to develop a greater understanding of capital markets, Drew joined the Fixed Income team where he analyzed and constructed municipal and corporate bond strategies for retail investors.  In his last role with Fidelity’s Corporate Real Estate team, Drew developed regional labor market and economic analyses for internal usage.

Drew graduated from Miami (OH) University in 2011, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional.  He served as Southwestern Ohio’s Financial Planning Association’s NexGen Co-Director and was a member of Fidelity’s Young Savvy Advisory Board.  Drew is an active member of the CFA Society and volunteers with Junior Achievement, educating middle schoolers on good financial habits.

Drew grew up on a 50-acre farm in Danville, VA and after 10 years in Cincinnati, OH, is excited to return home.  He and wife, Lina, have a dog named Tank.  In his free time, he enjoys beach trips, yoga, dog walks, and practicing Spanish (Lina is Colombian).
